City of Amsterdam, NY
The City of Amsterdam would like to take this opportunity to highly commend and recommend Collar City
Auctions Realty & Management, Inc. as a company of great dignity, honesty and integrity. Their staff of highly
trained professionals took control of our entire foreclosure process, which lifted the burdensome task off City Staff
and allowed us to concentrate on our day-to-day operations. Collar City’s foreclosure services included a team of
well organized attorneys that handled the foreclosure process, handled all filed answers that were received, handled
all bankruptcy matters, handled all evictions and even implemented a pre-foreclosure collection effort through direct
notification to delinquent tax payers, which coming from a law from vs. the City had a significant impact and netted
the City in excess of $1,500,000.00 in collected taxes and redemptions prior to the actual foreclosure taking place. (con't. reading)

I would like to take this opportunity
to thank Randy Passonno of Collar City Auctions. It is with most sincerity that I thank you today for what has been such a long journey for me. Your dedication to my home and me was superb.
I would also like to thank you for all the exposure that my home received. The advertisings were great. For two years I had my home listed with other realtors, they did not show my home or me the attention that you did. (con't. reading)

Landis Arboretum
From the many comments we have received since the Landis Arboretum’s dinner auction fundraiser at
Howe Caverns on December 5 (2006), it would be difficult to over-estimate the impact of your professional
services.
The event attracted close to 100 participants and in the few hours that included both silent and LIVE
auctions, 80 donated items from more than 60 Capital Region businesses and supporters of Landis –
coupled with raffle drawings for a 2006 Harley-Davidson Softail® Deluxe motorcycle, a hand-sewn,
donated quilt, and a bidding war for the professional services of Chef Michael DeSalvatore -- netted the
Arboretum nearly $15,000 in sorely needed operating funds. This net does not include the more than
$1,600 raised by your impromptu plea to the audience to donate funds for sorely needed lighting at the
Arboretum. (con't. reading)

We recently used Collar City Auctions Realty & Management, Inc. to auction off various
construction equipment, trucks, machinery and materials. Collar City did an excellent
job in recruiting people to attend. We were impressed by the large turnout and top dollar
that was generated. The auction went smoothly as we expected, and we were pleased by
the final outcome.
Collar City’s staff prepared and re-organized the auction site and by doing so, maximized
our dollar return. Their knowledge of trucks, equipment, machinery and inventory was
very impressive and their site preparation provided a well groomed auction site, including
cleaning and preparation of items being sold. (con't. reading)
Rensselaer County (NY) Bureau Of Central Services
I would like to take this opportunity to express the outstanding efforts and results Collar City Auctions
Realty & Management, Inc. and their staff have provided to Rensselaer County.
Collar City has provided auction services to the County of Rensselaer selling surplus Construction
Equipment, Support Equipment, Vehicles, Highway Trucks and Equipment and the contents of the former
Van Rensselaer Manor, which consisted of restaurant, medical, concession, office and maintenance
equipment.
Collar City very effectively marketed the auction through adequate media sources, including their website,
direct mailing of photo brochures to their extensive database of buyers and statewide publications. Their
staff handled and oversaw all pre-auction, auction day and post auction removal periods. Their staff
provided the County with assistance with retrieval of surplus assets and relocated them at the auction site.
Collar City pre-lotted our surplus items, provided an auction catalog for auctions attendee’s and was very
well organized with the registration, clerking, computerized billing and collection of all funds. (con't. reading)
Rensselaer County (NY) Bureau Of Finance
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Collar City Auctions and Realty
Management for their services related to Rensselaer County’s recent auction of foreclosed
properties.
Collar City’s extensive marketing efforts such as direct mail, color brochures, open
houses and signage all contributed to a very successful auction. The information available to
perspective buyers on your website also generated interest in the sale. I was very pleased with
the attendance and the competitive bidding at the auction, which demonstrated the
effectiveness of your firm’s marketing plan.
Collar City’s professional team also relieved County personnel from many of the tasks
associated with planning and preparing for an auction, such as answering questions from
potential bidders. These services freed my staff to move forward with other projects during the
weeks leading up to the sale. (con't. reading)
