Buying
Become a member:
You must first become a member of the site (it’s fast and free). You only need to register once to become a lifetime Member. As a member, you will also receive news about upcoming auctions and any important information you need to know.
- Fill in the form select a Member ID and Password. It is required to register for any Auction.
- Submit to open your account.
- Your ID and password will be sent via email to the address provided.
Registering:
To bid utilizing our online bidding platform, you must register for each auction using your ID / Password.
Please review the Terms and Conditions of the auction and follow instructions to become approved for online bidding.
After you agree to the Terms and Conditions, you will be registered for the auction.

Track This Item:
Item watch notifies you via email notification when someone bids on the auctions that you have added to your “Item Watch”.
Sales Tax:
All applicable sales taxes apply. If you are tax exempt, you must complete and submit your tax exempt form via email to service@collarcityauctions.com prior to the auction closing date and time or you may fax it to 518-895-8152. Again, this must be submitted prior to the auction closing or sales tax will be charged, and you will be tax exempt for future auctions.
Buyer’s Premium:
Each auction may charge different Buyers Premiums and fees over and above your bid price. Please read the terms of the auction for further details.
Payment:
A successful bidder is responsible for making payments on time or be subject to account suspension or closure.
Selling

If you wish to sell an item or have your item consigned through our global online auction platform, please email sample photos to service@collarcityauctions.com, We will respond or call to further discuss a solution for you.
General
Photos:
All pictures of items are to be used only as a guide. Pictures may not always display every major nor minor flaw in condition. To make the best determination of condition, we encourage you to personally inspect the items on the scheduled inspection day listed within each individual auction.
Auction End Times:
Online auctions are timed events, and all bidding will close at a specified time. All items have an auto extended bid feature. Any bid placed in the final 120 seconds of closing will automatically extend the bidding 120 seconds or until no bid is placed in the allotted time.
Sold “AS IS”:
All auction items are being sold in “as is” condition with no warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied. Any description provided is for informational purposes only and the Auction Company and the seller clearly disclaim any warranty or guarantees. All sales are final! Upon becoming a member of our site and registering for any auction, the bidder understands and agrees that no refunds, exchanges, adjustments, etc. will be permitted. Any inspection of merchandise being sold is to be done personally by you, the buyer, or your agent. Once listed, all items are available for auction only and not subject to prior sale. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, some lots may be removed from time to time at the discretion of the Auction Company without further explanation.
Server & Software Technical Issues:
In the event there are technical difficulties related to the auction server, internet, software or any other online auction-related technologies, the Auction Company reserves the right to re-start or extend bidding, continue bidding, or close the bidding at any time. Neither Auction Company nor the sellers will be responsible for a missed bid or any technology issue that may arise at any time.
Reserved Auction:
Some lots may have a reserve value set by the seller. Auction Company reserves the right to call a “no sale” on items that did not reach the reserve price. The Seller reserves the right to accept a bid that did not meet the reserve price, and, in this event, the current high bidder will be notified of bid acceptance post auction.
